ilink® System is a family of sensors that help the operator in earthmoving activities, providing support for the instant measurement of the excavation depth and for different types of excavations: earthworks, slopes, with a fixed section. Ability to set upper or lower limits to avoid contact with high voltage cables or utilities.
The Software at the center: ilink® System is a family of sensors combined with a dedicated App and connected to a cloud dashboard to monitor various metrics.
The sensors are installed easily and without drilling holes or welds on the excavator thanks to their powerful magnets; there are no cables because the sensors are connected to the App with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology.
Once a quick calibration procedure has been carried out, the device is able to detect the position of the bucket at any time with respect to the zero height set by the operator and to transmit this information via APP for smartphones and tablets.
It will therefore be easy and immediate, being inside the excavator cabin, to know at any time the depth reached during the excavation phase.

What are the features of the ilink® System?
The system provides in real time and geolocated the excavation route carried out and its sizing. Configurable on different excavators and “easy to install” system (based on magnets). Rechargeable batteries with 80 hours of autonomy (about 10 working days). i-link® 3 (bucket) with IP67 degree of protection (resistant to dust and temporary immersion) suitable for excavations in the riverbed for nourishment and/or submerged excavations. Removable at the end of the day with two simple magnets (with a magnetic adhesion force of 35 kg each) to ensure anti-theft protection during the night in unmonitored areas. It does not require wiring or tightening screws. Applicable to different types of excavation (dirt roads, compulsory sections and slopes) and with variable terrain morphology. It can be used for precision excavations specific to sewer work with millimetre slopes.
Digging depth measurement
(not sensitive to angular changes of the bucket)
Indicates the distance of the bucket tooth/blade from the tracking plane in real time. Applicability on wheel or track loaders and mini loaders.
It allows you to identify the distance perpendicular to the ground of the bucket tip at any time.
Essential support to keep the plane horizontal during material distribution.
Digging distance measurement
Indicates in real time the distance from the tip of the bucket to the desired point 0 (zero).
Digging depth measurement PRO
(sensitive to angular changes of the bucket)
Indicates in real time the distance of the bucket tip from the track plane (the bucket can be held freely in any position).
Notification notice for exceeding limits
By equipping the system with a maximum minimum depth height that can be reached, both an acoustic and visual warning is obtained in the event of exceeding this limit. Alarm that ends only when the vehicle is repositioned within the permitted limits. Needful tool in case of work under high voltage cables or in case of unmarked underground utilities;

It allows you to change the size of the bucket, without having to change the size of the vehicle, with a simple click

L’APP ilink® System
L’app di ilink® System permette di gestire tutte le operazioni di scavo interfacciandosi con i vari sensori applicati all’escavatore.
Pre-installata sul Tablet fornito in dotazione di tutte le configurazioni o scaricata da AppStore® o Google Play® è l’interfaccia intuitiva che permette all’operatore di macchina di gestire tutte le operazioni di configurazione dell’escavatore, scelta delle differenti benne e procedere allo scavo.
Disponibile in modalità “Subscription” (la prima annualità è inclusa nel prezzo dei vari prodotti ilink® System), consente di dilazionarne il costo negli anni successivi e garantisce tutti gli aggiornamenti che verranno resi disponibili.
Il ciclo di vita del software ilink® System fornirà non solo aggiornamenti di sistema ma, soprattutto, nuove funzionalità frutto dell’attività della nostra Ricerca e Sviluppo e del feedback dei nostri clienti, con l’obiettivo di migliorare l’esperienza dell’utente e di aumentarne la produttività.
La Piattaforma Cloud Interconnessa ilink® System
La nostra Piattaforma in Cloud, attraverso la raccolta dei dati, sta già fornendo ai nostri Clienti una serie di dati molto rilevanti, fra i quali:
- Tracking con geolocalizzazione tramite mappa del parco veicoli
- Visualizzazione del numero dei cicli di lavorazione e tempi di operatività dei mezzi
- Visualizzazione delle profondità di scavo raggiunte in base al periodo selezionato
- Visualizzazione e modifica/integrazione mezzi, benne ed utenti abilitati
- Invio di istant message agli operatori
- Visualizzazione del calendario con date in cui le macchine hanno lavorato (utili all’imputazione dei costi dei mezzi nella contabilità del cantiere)
- Impostazione e verifica degli obiettivi da raggiungere temporalmente da parte dell’operatore

The ilink® System APP
The ilink® System app allows you to manage all excavation operations by interfacing with the various sensors applied to the excavator.
Pre-installed on the Tablet supplied with all configurations or downloaded from the AppStore® or Google Play®, it is the intuitive interface that allows the machine operator to manage all the operations of configuring the excavator, choosing the different buckets and proceeding with the excavation.
Available in “Subscription” mode (the first year is included in the price of the various ilink® System products), it allows you to defer the cost in subsequent years and guarantees all the updates that will be made available.
The life cycle of the ilink® System software will provide not only system updates but, above all, new features resulting from our R&D activity and feedback from our customers, with the aim of improving the user experience and increasing productivity.
The ilink® System Cloud-Connected Monitoring Platform
Our Cloud-Connected Monitoring Platform, through data collection, is already providing our customers with a series of very relevant data, including:
- Geolocation tracking and fleet management
- Display of the number of processing cycles and uptime of the vehicles
- Display of excavation depths reached according to the selected period
- Visualization and modification/integration of vehicles, buckets and authorized users
- Sending instant messages to operators
- Calendar display with dates on which the machines worked (useful for allocating vehicle costs in the site accounting)
- Setting and verification of the objectives to be achieved in time by the operator

ilink®️System is the only Aftermarket Digging Depth Management System offered with a Proprietary Cloud-Connected Monitoring Platform.
Further future developments
The focus on software allows us to design new scenarios that will soon be available to our customers; Among all:
- Machine Learning algorithms to make the most of the data tracked in the field by ilink® System devices through their sensors, which will result in Predictive Maintenance, Enhanced Budgeting, etc.)
- Remote work accounting (integration with Building Information Modeling – BIM platforms); Optimization of the work plan
- Integration with Edilmag® Sharing Economy Platform
- Ground geotechnics with satellite connection
- Connection to weather stations to optimize the weekly work plan;
